The Binding of the Wheels Tantra, a practice and a deity of Buddhist Tantra. Here standing in alidhasana pose, entangled in yab-yum position with his consort Vajravarahi, both trampling on multiple prostrate and crouching figures on a large circular lotus platform. He has twelve arms creatively angled holding various ritual implements, including a skull cup, a noose, a battle axe, a hand drum, a crescent-shaped knife and severed heads. Vajravarahi is wrapping her right leg around his waist, her gaze turned towards one of Chakrasamvara's four faces. He cradles her in his primary arms, showing vajrahumkara mudra by crossing the vajra and ghanta in his hands. His hair are done up in a high bun, a crescent-moon and vajra extending from the top. The upper body of Vajravarahi can be removed. Together they symbolize enlightenment attained through the perfect union of wisdom and compassion.
