Bronze sculpture of Buddha, classic example of the Lan Na Kingdom's golden age. Seated Buddha in a meditative pose dhyana mudra, with legs crossed in the vajrasana position. Despite the significant erosion and encrustation, traces of the figure's iconic ushnisha (cranial protuberance) and elongated earlobes are visible, indicating its Buddhist iconography. The figure's torso is straight, with remnants of finely modeled drapery suggesting the Buddha's robes.
The figure is seated on a tiered, lotus-like base with portions of the structure appearing hollowed or weathered. This base traditionally symbolizes purity and enlightenment. Mounted on a modern wooden plinth for stability and display.
