Antique Tibetan Gau (portable shrine) box, featuring a blend of gilt copper and silver materials. The rectangular box showcases a richly detailed repoussé and chased design of floral motifs, auspicious symbols, and deities, rendered in exquisite precision.

The front panel is adorned with a central arched window, framed by elaborate scrolling decorations and accented with golden highlights, likely serving as a niche for enshrining a small image or relic.

Surrounding the central window are multiple medallions, each depicting protective and auspicious Buddhist emblems, adding spiritual significance to the piece.

The body of the box is constructed from a robust copper base, with silver detailing and gilt highlights creating a striking visual contrast.

The sides of the box are fitted with original clasps for securing the relic during travel.

Signs of wear and patina on the surface affirm its age and use, enhancing its historical charm.
