Parvati is also known as Mother Goddess and is the supreme goddess in Shivaism, wife to Shiva.
Her fearsome form is the one of Durga or Kali. Parvati is standing on a small round lotus base wearing a short patterned dhoti with long shawl at the side, her whole body adorned with chains, jewellery and necklaces.
Her body is slightly bent to her left at the waist, her right hand is forming a mudra in front of her chest, the left hand is raised and forming a mudra at head height.
Her round face has strong features, she is smiling benevolently.
Her head is decorated with heavy jewellery and a high conical crown.
