Varahi is one of the Mother Goddesses and can be identified by a sow's head or snout.
This metal work shows her seated cross-legged on a prostrate bull, her vehicle, on a lotus base with beaded rim.
Varahi has four arms, two are raised holding her attributes, while two are in front of her chest holding a skull cup.
She is adorned with lots of jewellery, a karanda mukuta on her head.
The goddess is surrounded by a three-banded aureole in a gate-shape.
